Activities chosen for stage, interests, and energy.

How Visits from Our Caregivers Work

Personalization & Planning

A brief intake covers stage, triggers and comforts, life story details, and cultural or language preferences. A supervisor reviews the plan and adjusts as needs change.

During the Visit

  • ADLs/IADLs as needed: grooming, light meal prep, hydration prompts, tidy-up.
  • Structured engagement block tailored to the stage of dementia.
  • Pacing with backup activities and a calm wind-down.

After the Visit

Your caregiver provides a quick verbal or written summary and reports any changes to the care team and to you.

Engagement That Supports the Brain

Passive screens don’t help. Our caregivers arrive with materials and a plan designed to stimulate multiple brain regions and support better days.

Creative Arts

Hands-on projects that activate focus and planning, building confidence while exercising frontal and parietal networks.

Music & Rhythm

Familiar songs and steady beats to lift mood, cue movement, and spark memories through temporal-lobe pathways.

Guided Movement

Safe, gentle motion that reduces restlessness and supports balance and motor planning.

Nature Engagement

Textures, light, and living elements that soothe the nervous system and improve attention.

Life Story Sharing

Reminiscence and photo prompts that connect identity and language, encouraging conversation.

Purposeful Tasks

Simple, useful activities that restore agency and reinforce sequencing and problem-solving.

Why it works

Each session blends calming sensory input with targeted cognitive stimulation. Activities are matched to stage and personal interests to ease anxiety, strengthen communication, and support cognitive function over time. Plans are flexible in the moment and refined by a supervising team as needs change.
